I must be getting old, or something.  My stomach has actually been
getting queasy while playing a video game.  Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast
has been making my stomach go hoopy everytime I’ve been playing it
lately.  I haven’t had the problem with HL2, but older games though
have been making me feel ucky.

In general, I cannot play 3D games because they make me nauseous. I don't know if it's because I've always gotten motion sickness relatively easy or what. My favorite game in the world was Myst (like 15 years ago!!!), and I have all of the new incarnations of that game, but I haven't even been able to get through Riven because I can only sit and play it for a few minutes before I get sick.

The first game I ever noticed this phenomenon on was Super Mario 64. I never had a problem with Doom until recently.

So as far as gaming goes, I'm pretty much a n00b because I try to stick with 2D. :(

Since you think it's related to age, I wonder if it has to do with failing eyesight? Do you wear glasses?
