My absence...
School, school, full time work...and a crashing computer have all contributed to my absence of late.
Over the last few weeks I have been recovering from what was probably a mastoid infection. I still feel kind of run down from it, but that feeling is getting a little bit less everyday.
I went and saw Once Upon a Time in Mexico last weekend with my wife and I would like to report that it is a great popcorn movie. It's a very lush movie, absolutely gorgeous to watch. The soundtrack absolutely kicks ass, and Johnny Depp absolutely steals the show.

As for the the pc issues, my auxiliary drive comiited suicide, fried my partition tables and nuked my dual boot linux setup. Most of my files were backed up, however I lost 130megs of artwork source files for Bryce 5 along the way. A good friend of mine thinks he may be able to help me recover the lost data.
In the end I am, in general hopeful.
