Sigh

I've always been a Pete Townshend fan...

And now I have discovered that YouTube has a number of the old performances from the early eighties on there as well...specifically the stuff from "All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes"  In addition they have the old MTV video for The Who's "Eminence Front"

I am content.


The comic will start back up again on the 1st as well....

Niiiiiiice. I've found YouTube can be quite interesting and eminently amusing when you know what you're looking for. It's good to know there's some good Townshend stuff floating around too. Especially if it isn't "Tommy"....you get tired after a while of the overplayed stuff.

What makes this stuff so good is the fact that a lot of the old versions from the early days of MTV were different versions of what you could find on the albumes, and were actaully superior in a number of instances.

Especially "Eminence Front", Townshend is absolutely phenomenal on it...and it has the absolutely coolest Telecaster tone I have heard damn near ever heard.
