Thought and Memory

You know, it's been a long time since a political event actually gave me some hope (somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 years now)....I know it's foolish to think the world will be different when the sun comes up, but in a way it is already. The US *will* elect an African-American to its highest office, the stranglehold of the Evil Elephant *will* come to an end, and one day, the Bush years will be a distant, hopefully fading memory. It's just good to know it's almost over.
