Deer

On a mini-road trip I had the great fortune to see two deer standing in the middle of the highway.

They got off the road after I had came to a full stop...and seem to give me a thank you look as the walked off into the night.

Nature still survives...no matter how hard mankind tries to kill it.

That fact cheers me greatly...

Today, I finally got a travel surge protector for my laptop and I lucked into a 128meg Flash Drive...after the rebate it will end up being the same price as a 64meg drive.

I am happy...I am very happy.

On the other hand, I was forced to deal with holiday shoppers and traffic through our commercial strip.

I was not amused.

Screaming children, idiotic adults, and efficiency done in the name of commerce that turned parts of the trip into a convincing facsimile of the Bataan Death March.

But I did get my gear though, and at about half of what I expected to pay for it as well.

I even had diner with my wife tonight :)

Things are better...

On the other hand my cat is griping about something and I can't figure out what she wants...Man, I wish I spoke cat.
