The Verdict
Dec. 6th, 2005 01:58 amMost of my data has been recovered....occasional fucked files show up here and there though, mainly Poser library files now. All of which I should have backed up in one way shape or form.
Goddamn it all though.... a number of things are going to have to be reinstalled so I can verify the status of libraries (Poser 5 and 6, Bryce 5) Ran stuff through with DAZ studio and most of the files in the Poser Libraries are okay, those that aren't I have hard burned backups of.
The one time I leave my software case at home the world blows up....thats it....from now on it goes with me every time I am out of town. I am not going to go through this again.
As for my minibackup....ak a 60gb laptop drive in a usb enclosure? It is currently doing the click of death, that is when it bothers to do anything at all.
So fucking tired, and way too fucking pissed to sleep.
Character wise things seem safe....unfortunately what utterly terrifies me right now are the things that I can't check with DAZ studio.
The material labs...all the custom work I had put together. From what I have been able to see so far, some of the material files that were in the Pose format are fucking gone as well.
