Ancient light
Jul. 6th, 2005 11:13 amI keep thinking about an old piece of mine.
The idea behind "Ancient Light" was that of an old streetlight sitting in a cluster of trees and underbrush. Whatever had once been there was now overgrown, leaving the light and what ever was still powering it to shine in the middle of nowhere. It was an interesting concept at the time...but it was done over 2 and a half years ago...
I think I might revisit it again only this time I keep thinking of an abandoned highway and overpass...entirely overgrown...cars in the breakdown lane...overgrown as well...the whole thing illuminated by aging arc sodium lights....
Yeah, I think I will be revisiting this.
