Long night...and long day....

Knocked out five comics last night, and now I am troubleshooting a wireless connection problem on a spiffy little Gateway laptop we have managed to procure.  Athlon Mobile xp3000 processor, 512 megs of ram, 80 gb hard drive.  Runs pretty sweet from what I have been able to see.  Got my dock bar setup. most of the utilities and such kicked in.
This is a Gateway though, so things could get interesting.  I am pretty used to how many running processes are showing up on Dell and HP computers, but it's been a few years since I have had a chance to check out what shows up on a Gateway stock install.

Need chocolate milk, need cigarette.....

Found them both with great success...

Wireless situation fixed by changing the channel settings on the Linksys box in the den.

The other thing I am wondering about is how to setup the three comics.  Since I went on to Spider Forest, we have been using a PHP setup to handle the archiving with dynamic page generation for each page in the archive.  The problem is that I am kinda running three comics right now.

Requiem, which is the standard gig...
Tunnelrunners, which is the weekly for Renderosity
and Pryce which gets updated around the time of El Nino appearances.

What I am debating right now is an offer the head of Spider Forest made to me about setting up multiple archive folders with in the internal guts of the system so that I can actually get my archives annotated again (in addition to having my proper cast pages linked to first appearances of characters the way they used to be on Keenspace)

New avatar is gonna be showing up out and about soon I think....I thnk old big and grumpy Illitock may have something to say soon ;)
Night All!

I know what you mean. I couldn't keep up with life and two comics, so I kinda dropped "Faith" for the foreseeable future. DGN is a lot more fun, even if it is lacking in substance.
