(Long winded tech post ahead)

I play with search tools a lot.

Mainly to catalog Poser content.  When you are dealing with a file folder that is in excess of 30gb of content...the standard Windows search functionality just isnt enough.  At any rate the newest test bed program for me right now is the  Windows Desktop Search (Enterprise Version)

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/desktopsearch/enterprise/default.mspx

It's free and doesn't have the MSN toolbar crap bundled up with it. (Which I wll never use if I can at all help it.)

The most important thing about it is you can truely configure it to only index the specific folders you want it to index, and nothing else.  It's the closest thing I have seen yet to being able to configure a "bookmarkable search"

Graphic cataloging and display is pretty good as well.  (Just make sure you use a descriptive file name of course;) )

Overall it is a pretty good little rig, content indexing is damn quick as well...and it appears to be a lot more customizable than the similar offering from Copernic which I have been using for the last 4 or 5 months.

If you're going for a special use search rig I highly recommend it.

On the personal note things have been going well....got a furnace out right now though, and my apartment complex hasnt gotten the replacement in yet...but other than that things are okay. The four and two footed members of the household are doing okay.
